Multi-Housing Units
It is the position of the FAC that all Multi-Housing Units in Florida should be smoke-free, moisture-free, pest-free, and have heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment serviced and maintained according to industry accepted standards. Additionally, gas stoves and other appliances should be vented to the outside.
Asthma Home Visits
Our efforts in home visiting will advance the FAC mission by mitigating early-life risk factors for children and equipping them with key skills to manage asthma symptoms they already have. This is in line with our efforts in schools, but also allows us to reach children who may miss many school days due to poorly controlled asthma symptoms.
