The 2020 Florida Asthma Coalition summit will be held on Friday, June 26th at St. Petersburg College Allstate Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. On June 25th, Workgroup members are invited to join for in-person strategic planning.

2019 Florida Asthma Coalition Summit
Asthma in Florida: Accelerating Evidence into Action
The 2019 Florida Asthma Coalition summit was held on February 22nd at Florida SouthWestern State College in Fort Myers, Florida. One hundred guests attended the event from all across Florida.Topics included evidence-based methods to improve asthma care such as: asthma assessment and monitoring, what health plans can do to improve care, medication adherence, assessing the home environment, and increasing asthma self-management education. On February 21st, Workgroups gathered to develop their operational plan for the coming year, outlining goals, objectives and strategies for their respective groups. We hope to see you at next year's summit!

2018 Florida Asthma Coalition Summit
Working Towards Health Equity in Asthma Outcomes in Florida
The Florida Asthma Coalition hosted 90 guests at the 2018 FAC Summit at Nemours Children's Hospital on February 9, 2018. Fifteen individuals shared their expertise, experiences, and best practices through plenary and breakout speaking sessions. On Thursday, February 8, 2018, 48 coalition members joined us for a pre-summit meeting where we discussed the strengths, gaps, and needs for our workgroups to continue their work to reduce the burden of asthma throughout Florida.
